Hello Friends. Well, the times certainly have changed in the last few weeks haven’t they? This photo was an outtake from a recent fashion post. Needless to say, I a not dressing like this of late. On Thursday I will be joining Mary Ann, Annie, and our pal Carla and we will be sharing our at-home workspaces. I will also share what I am “wearing to work” these days. In the meantime join me for a little Tuesday Miscellany.
Do you read Collage of Life? Jeanne penned a good post this week The Way I See it Saving Graces on enjoying nature and embracing family time.
I don’t know about you but I need a manicure and I am not very adept at doing my own. Many of you have asked about my gray polish. When things are back to normal I will get a gel manicure as I am hard on my nails. I made sure both of these also come in gel as well. I have a feeling going forward even if we get a professional manicure, we will want to use our own polish. I almost always wear gray but I don’t care for the real dark colors even though they are popular. I ordered without a stitch and press pause by Essie for summer. Waltz is great if you don’t work in the dirt (like me).
I also ordered mooning, sunday funday, and saltwater happy. I am trying to go outside my comfort zone and be a little more daring. I have linked them all below.
Do you follow Jute Interior Design on Instagram. I love everything they do. This was a kitchen they did for the San Francisco Showhouse. Isn’t it fabulous?
Do you follow Sandra Sallin on Instagram? Sandra is a former actress and her husband a retired producer/director. Sandra has started doing videos and they are full of fun and information. FYI she is 78 (you would never know!) and adorable .
I am making this soup today. I will share with my neighbors one who is elderly and the other recovering from surgery.
Love this gorgeous home by Matthews Design featured in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles and Design Chic. You have read my praises before about Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles here. It is such a great magazine at a great price. I somehow let my subscription lapse so I renewed it. You can order it on Amazon here for $19.95 per year (worth every penny in my mind).
For Steve and me the worst part of sheltering in place is not seeing Summer. It has been over a month since we have seen her and I fear we will not be able to be with her on her second birthday May 9th. We keep in touch via Skype but it still isn’t the same as being with her. I worry that she will forget us.
However, we are grateful for our health, projects and our garden. The wisteria is beginning to bloom on the fireplace and fountain trellis. Spring is here!
I will be back on Thursday with our Project Design group and we will be sharing how we work from home. Thanks for reading Tuesday Miscellany. Have a great week!
Since I haven’t been working my real job I have updated all of my shop pages. You can access them by clicking on the shop link at the top of the page.
